![]() I'm not using it as a media centre, so all files downloaded I'd like to be shifted to my PC. If it does work, can I expect it to work poorly? Should I rethink my idea for this setup or is it it viable?Īnother question I have is if there is a way to automatically move all completed Sab files to my Ubuntu machine and delete the content on the Pi's HDD. I expect that even without the services being used, they must still be taking some resources and I'd like to know if it takes too much to restrict Sab working to any degree. ![]() I wouldn't be downloading constantly, neither would I have heavy usage of owncloud, so do you reckon I would be in the clear? I would be using the cloud so that a few friends and I could access and download a few files for while we are at college (namely a few small games), and the Sab/SB/CP setup is for the constant scanning I would prefer them to do. I've heard that Sabnzbd can cause the device to slow to a crawl during unpacking, so my thinking is that this would be made worse by having Sickbeard and Owncloud running simultaneously. Now, my worry is that the Pi won't be able to handle this. I would also love to use it as a small personal webserver with cloud storage. The best thing? The base model is only $20 $5!.ĭo you know a related subreddit? We'd love to know.Īfter Christmas, I'll be getting the Raspberry Pi so that I can have a near enough 24/7 device for my Sickbeard/Couchpotato setup. Welcome to /r/raspberry_pi, a subreddit for discussing the raspberry pi credit card sized, ARM powered computer, and the glorious things we can do with it. Pi project ideas: There's a huge list right here on this sub! Friendly reminder: Please don't just post pictures of unused pis - do a project!Ĭomplete r/raspberry_pi Rules Check the FAQ and Helpdesk here
